It's holiday time. Finally. Guess what's first on dad's agenda??
Anyway, nothing much. I think the heat is getting to everyone, and everyone is taking it out on me. As usual. Hmph. I haven't had any more adventures in the past two days... have just been lazign around at home, supporting a red nose.
If you still haven't watched The Day After Tomorrow, please do so now. It's a damn good flick. And it's not un realistic. I mean it. If you look around you, in the world today, you'll find that we're only increasing the level of chaos around us. And that is what is going to lead us to our doom one day. Anyway, watch the movie.
I'm really proud of these medical kids in Delhi. They started something, and they're sticking to it. It's an amazing show of unity and the will to do something. It's really nice to see some body doing something about these reservations. What's even better is to see people who belong to these SC/ST s actually stand up in the protest too. Those who are going to study and want to do something with their lives, are going to do it. Without a crutch. Because they are NOT crippled.
And those of you who don't watch F.R.I.E.N.D.S., shame on you. Go do yourselves a favor, and watch them. And for those of you who have already seen them, go do yourselves a favor and watch them. I never seem to get bored of watching them. Sigh. Everytime there's nothing to do and I'm on a low, I squat in front of the T.V. with my FriChen, in chanellor talk, i.e, Fried Chicken, in normal human talk.
While one party talks about giving 10kg rice at Rs.3.50, the other party raises the bar by giving 10kg of rice free with every 10kg that is bought at Rs.3.50. Yep, me is talking about the not so awaited elections in Tamil Nadu. Sadly, I won't be able to vote this time. Because I won't be here. I was really looking forward to it. Anyway, next time. Even though it's called a SECRET ballot, I think I'd have voted for Lok Paritan. We need fresh blood.
I was pretty surprised when the other day I got an SMS, asking me to NOT vote. Why? Because if the number of votes to all the parties is less than 30% then the President heads the state. Actually, I wasn't all that surprised. It's an interesting option. Personally, I was glad to see people getting sick of these parties and their own secret agendas. May be there is hope after all.
.... While you guys ponder, I'm all set to hit the road. Hope you guys have an amazing week. And in the time I'm gone, think of a name for me.. because I'm going to change it, if we make it out of the house before 7 :) lotsaluv...
Miss me.. and Oh! I'll send you a postcard!!
Hahahahahahaha... Ya-huh. I want to see THAT happen. We're going by road. I love travelling by road. It's my second most favorite way of travelling. First is by foot. I bet you didn't see that one coming up :)Hit the road before 7:00 AM tomorrow.

I don't know... Lok Paritran hasn't done anything for anyone yet, and while we do need to see some fresh blood, these guys may be too urban. I don't know how in touch these guys are with the masses of Tamil Nadu and their needs.
