L'OREAL's new : MEN EXPERT- HYDRA ENEERGETIC ANTI FATIGUE MOISTURISING LOTION Hydra Energetic Lotion
It combats tired skin. It recharges the skin with energy for revived, fresh and healthy looking skin. Contains Vitmain C which also helps reinforce the skin's natural resistance.
Please correct me if I'm wrong, but did I just hear... a cream that helps reduce fatigue?? ..and I'm Miss. India!!
I can't believe people actually fall for all this cosmetic nonsense. But
then, I guess they really do... 'cuz companies that market these products are still functioning. I mean if you can fall for a cream that is supposed to be made of milk, almonds, olive oil, orange extracts and whatnot then what's so big about a fairness cream or a anti-fatigue cream??
..Talking about nonsense.. here's another one:::
Himani Sona Chandi Chyawanprash – With Gold, Silver and Saffron: A unique formulation based on years of research by Himani Ayurvedic Resarch Foundation.
Which brings me to where I started,
.......Wha... Whhat??
As bogus the first claim is, the second one about the chyawanprash is actually true.
i wonder if we really wish to feel glowing in terms of whiteness, why not paint ourselves white or apply molten wax all over??
hahaha...the problem is that most people fall for such mumbo-jumbo! They would even try to walk on water to get that plasticky, doll-like look!
bleargh
haha!!
ppl fall for tht crap!!
sona chandi in chyawanprash [hope my spelling is right] for sure
i'll buy 1 and VO i'll be rich!!
hey! quite a co-incidence bumping into u here! its a small world after all! and about the cosmetics thing...what can i say? the world's neva gonna change!
:) true and these company's grow coz ppl go for all this and thinks all this to be true
~preeti
indeed...Ganguly advertises for Sona Chandi...need I say anymore?
Preetika, sad but true. Infact people say that the beauty contensts in the year in which India won all the 3 titles - Universe, World and Asia Pacific, was rigged. India's buying share in the cosmetic market was very mearge and to improve the sales, this was the trick! and it worked too!!
Though such cosmetics have adverse effects on the skin in the long run, what we are actually losing out are our own native, traditional, *safe* beauty meachanisms. Maybe you may want to read a similar post on my blog (Title:"Made-up").
Well, I am surprised (and happy) that a girl of your age hasn't fallen prey into such traps! Don't ever!
Yeah even King Khan endorses the Krap.
@sona: it is. it is and thats the sad part.
@c.k: it is?? *eye buldging smilie* And to answer ur question; it's 'cuz wax aint sold in bottles costing a crazy Rs.700 per 500gm by L'OREAL.
@vikram h: tell me abt it!
@aash: precisely.
@sis: dnt we wish?? ;)
@sid: im sorry, but do i knw you from somewhere??
@preeti: thanks for visiting. hope u had a lovely lohri.
@ravi: have no fear my dear friend...
@aash(again): yes, i knw. i flipped when i saw him on that ad.
..thanks a ton for visitng guys! hope to see you soon.. lv ya
yup...the chyawanprash does contain gold and silver but not in their elemental forms as we all envision (think chemistry people).
...oh and if thats the only problem in selling wax, why not ask LOREAL to bottle and sell it @700 bucks a bottle??
@bangalore guy: i do knw they contain gold and silver.. the ads make it sound like they are present in their elemental form. the problem with "anti-faitgue" is that it's utter crap. creams do not actually contain orange extracts or whatever they are claimed to contain.
@c.k: lets put fwd the proposal ?? ;)
thanks for visiting guys!
lol.. yes we do.
Thanks for coming by!
