> People always message you, try to call you.. when you are on national roaming and each incoming call is charged at Rs.4.99/min !! So, I very conviniently switched off my phone. I did, for around a full 20 seconds, hesistate and wonder what would happen if there was an emergency or something... but then I muttered something like "what the hell" and did the deed. It's kinda funny.. it felt good to have me all to myself for a change.
> I know..i know.. i AM a hypocrite. First, I buy a cell phone so that people can contact me even when i'm not at home. And then, I feel superb about having kept my phone switched off for a day!! ;)
>I came across a hoarding advertising about The Economic Times. Frankly, I love the newspaper. And hence, wasn't disappointed by the advertisement. Finally, an ad which didn't have a half naked babe with a beer bottle or something. Anyway it showed an eagle, in a going-to-snatch-a-fish-out-of-water pose. Only, the fish was depicted by a shark fin. The "jingle" read.. If you think, you can
>The guy at the entrance and I are now very good friends. I was pretty amused when I first saw him. Those men with turbans and huge moustaches you see on TV or read about...And here I was looking at an actual replica. Best part was when he gave me this huge smile to wish me a very good afternoon. Poor guy, little did he know, that he'd found himself as a fan, ME!!! MY poor dada... bathroom slippers to a 5 star and friends with the bell man and door man. He's kinda proud of me though... Have you ever seen the way these foreigners greet the bell man and the door and man and every other man, a very good day in return while around 90% Indians, just stick their noses high up in the air and walk past. I always wish them back, with my absolutely gorgeous smiles :D and thanks them too. It's what I've been taught. And I'm 100% glad and proud of my parents for having taught me. For you see... The fact that they are there to serve you... doesn't make them your servants
>I travelled by Indian Airlines on my way TO hyderabad and took the Jet back home. Neither failed to disappoint me. IA left at after a very reasonable (for it's standards) delay of 25 minutes while Jet was dot on time. The flight crew, bless their souls, were unashamedly made fun of by me.
I was travelling back alone so was getting bored... while taxing the runway, I could see these army people getting ready for a parade or something.. so I did a very me-like thing and waved. The guy next to me, was so amused, tapped me on my shoulder and with a very kind smile asked me, "Who are you waving to?"
>While eating, and looking at the clouds floating beneath me, I was thinking up of excuses to give to my teacher for not having completed some work that needed to be submitted. After alot or thinking, I decided to stick to the "Sir, my dads bag and my bag got interchanged. So, all my charts and files are with him." And to any queries as to what bag and what dad, I decided to let him know that I had been to Hyderabad for a day to meet my doctor. My dad had to go to Delhi from there and I came home, and st to college. The check -in crew made a mistake. (The second part was the complete truth)
> Little did I know that I wouldn't have to lie at all!! I hate lying! I absoultely hate it... but then I didn't have an option. And guess what? I didn't need an option to not have. Because our bags did actually get interchanged!! We checked in at the same time, and I guess they made a mistake. Hahaha!! Poor dad...!!
>Anyway, I am back home. And very glad about it. I have exams starting next week. And with no further need to worry about my health, I can start studying without worrying!! (an ahem to the "start studying part" please :) )
>I guess that's about it from me for now... by the by, if any of you guys want a particular christmas carol to be played, I'll be obliged. And do be kind enough to tell me how the templates look?? I don't know if any of you know but, I've started another blog for only pictures. You can check it out here!!
>'guess i've bored you guys enough... have a lovely day!! much love,

I tend to ignore calls... the advantage of the "vibrate" mode..:D
I looove your template... it's absolutely gorgeous...

Just thought you should know that Dhruva's blogged again. Check out his latest post at www.damndhruva.com.
Dhruva's one terrific guy. His songs are really amazing. Nothing compared to mine, of course. Listen to The Rain Song by me and my band, Led Zeppelin!

Hee hee, Heyas. Sorry for all the delay.
Hmm, I should say Preetika that in this post you sound like you are a 7 year old girl. Hee hee.
But yes, I do agree with the wishing. I have on many occasions neglected to wish back. The least we could do is glance a smile back.
